Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck revolves around Thranduil, the Elvenking, who gains all activated abilities of every Elf in the graveyard. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with Elves via self-mill, then use Thranduil to deploy or recur those abilities for card advantage and mana. The commander also rewards other legendary Elves by drawing cards. Secondary paths include landfall token generation from Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally and support pieces, culminating in Craterhoof Behemoth or Unnatural Growth-powered combat. Maralen, Fae Ascendant acts as a hidden commander, letting the deck cast exiled Elves for free while the commander accumulates abilities.
