Deck overview

This deck utilizes Jace, Multiverse Architect as a reusable, command-zone polymorph engine. By pairing non-creature token sources such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Goblin Assault with 2-CMC mana ramp, the deck curves directly into a turn 4 Jace. Jace immediately fires his -3 loyalty ability to sacrifice a token and flip into one of the deck's heavyweight bombs, such as Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Lord Xander, the Collector, or Archfiend of Despair. Supported by efficient removal, board wipes, and targeted spell protection, the deck establishes an oppressive mid-game presence that rapidly controls the board and closes out the match through overwhelming combat damage by turn 7.
