Deck overview

This is a focused mono-black aristocrats/combo deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The core plan is to generate a steady stream of creature tokens, sacrifice them for value (draw, mana, drain), and eventually assemble an infinite loop (e.g., Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Blood Artist) to drain all opponents. The commander provides additional card draw on sacrifice and an emblem that amplifies death-trigger drain, but the essential combos live entirely in the 99. The deck also leverages powerful recursion (Reanimate, Nether Traitor), big-mana engines (Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel), and a dense tutor suite to find its pieces reliably.
