Deck overview

This Bant deck centers on Lagrella, the Magpie and an extensive suite of enter-the-battlefield creatures. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and land ramp accelerate mana development while cantrip creatures like Wall of Blossoms and Coiling Oracle smooth land drops and card flow. The midgame establishes powerful, repeatable blink engines with Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Conjurer's Closet to extract continuous value, draw cards, and control opposing boards using cards like Skyclave Apparition and Knight of Autumn. The deck closes games swiftly via a deterministic infinite combo involving Peregrine Drake, Archaeomancer, and Ghostly Flicker, generating infinite mana to draw the library and mill opponents out with Altar of the Brood or bounce all opposing permanents with Venser, Shaper Savant. If the combo is disrupted, the deck pivots to overwhelming combat damage using Moonshaker Cavalry. Robust countermagic and instant-speed flicker spells provide strong protection throughout execution.
