Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Mardu Turbo Ad Nauseam deck commanded by Edgar Markov. Rather than casting Edgar, the deck leverages his Eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever low-cost Vampire spells are cast. These tokens provide essential fodder to pay sacrifice costs on premier mana and tutor spells such as Culling the Weak, Diabolic Intent, and Phyrexian Tower. The primary game plan accelerates into a rapid Turn 2–3 Ad Nauseam or Peer into the Abyss, drawing dozens of cards to assemble positive mana rocks and protection. Once shielded by Grand Abolisher or Silence, the deck executes an infinite drain loop using Leonin Relic-Warder, Animate Dead, and Blood Artist to eliminate all opponents on the spot. Backed by extensive redundancy, versatile tutors, and stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Opposition Agent, the deck provides resilient, blistering speed.
