Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-storm combo deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, built to convert a massive early burst of Treasure tokens into a chain of spells that draws cards, pings the table, and finishes through Aetherflux Reservoir or Bolas's Citadel. Smaug's ETB creates X Treasures equal to the number of artifacts opponents control - often 3-6 in a pod - and his trigger turns every Treasure-funded cast into a cantrip. The 99 is a dense package of rituals (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Culling the Weak), fast mana (Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, Sol Ring), copy spells (Heat Shimmer, Electroduplicate, Twinflame) to re-trigger Smaug, and artifact-ETB/sacrifice payoffs (Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats). The primary win is a treasure loop plus pingers; the backup is storming off with Reservoir or Citadel. It is fast, explosive, and heavily artifact-concentrated.
