Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and storm list helmed by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi grows with every noncreature spell cast, burning all opponents simultaneously and generating large bursts of mana equal to its power. The primary strategy pairs Vivi with damage-trigger draw engines like Curiosity or Tandem Lookout, which draw three cards for every noncreature spell cast as Vivi hits each opponent. This card draw fuels a massive storm turn that burns the table to zero on turn 5. The deck protects its commander using an efficient suite of one-mana hexproof and phasing spells that double as storm fuel and mana generators. As a backup win condition, the deck runs Niv-Mizzet, Parun, which forms a two-card infinite combo with Curiosity. With dense cost reduction and flexible interaction like Cyclonic Rift, the deck executes a fast and explosive combo-control game plan.
