Deck overview

Radagast of Rhosgobel leads a mono-green creature control and stompy deck that turns the commander's ability into an oppressive tempo engine. By granting flash and a two-mana discount to the first creature cast on every player's turn, the deck plays at instant speed while conserving mana. The ninety-nine contains ninety-eight permanents and a single noncreature spell in Primal Surge. Early turns establish mana through creatures and depletion lands. Once Radagast is active, the deck flashes in disruptive enter-the-battlefield creatures like Bane of Progress, Apex Altisaur, and Druid of Purification to dismantle opposing boards during opponent turns. Card advantage engines such as Beast Whisperer and Outcaster Trailblazer keep the hand stocked. The deck transitions into lethal combat via overwhelming trampling threats like Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, Surrak and Goreclaw, and Railway Brawler, or by resolving Primal Surge to drop the entire library onto the battlefield with haste.
