Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The plan is classic sacrifice-value: flood the board with tokens and recursive creatures, feed them to free outlets, and drain the table with death triggers. Sephiroth accelerates that loop-ETB/attack sac-draw, a built-in drain that transforms into a permanent emblem, and a back-face mass-sac draw engine. Primary wins are infinite (or near-infinite) life-drain loops pairing recur-fodder with altars and payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and The Meathook Massacre. Secondary paths include edict lock pieces (Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Tergrid, God of Fright), big devotion swings from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Bolas's Citadel storm turns. The deck is grindy, recursive, and heavily death-trigger oriented rather than combat-focused.
