Deck overview

This Golgari Aristocrats deck helmed by Lluwen, Exchange Student // Pest Friend focuses on generating a swarm of Pest tokens and converting them into steady lifegain, card advantage, and lethal life-drain attrition. Supported by efficient 1-2 CMC ramp and low-cost sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Woe Strider, the deck reliably establishes its core engine by Turn 4. The strategy leverages redundant aristocrat drainers such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Dina, Soul Steeper to incrementally sap opponents' life totals whenever creatures are sacrificed. It accelerates into critical onset around Turn 6, using explosive turns powered by Plumb the Forbidden, Culling Ritual, or Beledros Witherbloom, and finishes opponents by Turn 8 via combined drain bursts and combat overruns from Blossoming Bogbeast. While weak to exile sweepers and graveyard hate, the deck boasts robust functional redundancy and strong permanent removal.
