Deck overview

This Gruul deck leverages the partner pairing of Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith and Kodama of the East Tree to execute an explosive, landfall-based infinite combo. By holding two of the three combo pieces in the command zone, the deck only needs to find one of its five bounce lands—such as Gruul Turf or Guildless Commons—to go infinite. When a bounce land enters, its own bounce trigger returns it to hand while Toggo creates a 0-mana Rock token. Kodama sees the Rock enter and cheats the bounce land back onto the battlefield, creating an infinite loop of landfall triggers and artifact tokens. Supported by a suite of damage outlets like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, the deck converts this loop into an instant win on turn 5. If the combo is disrupted, heavy hitters like Avenger of Zendikar and Moraug, Fury of Akoum provide strong combat backups.
