Toph Metalbender by SilvAngel

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Naya earthbend deck turns lands into creatures and grows them with +1/+1 counters. Toph, the First Metalbender gives a free earthbend 2 each end step and makes nontoken artifacts into lands, but the deck runs many other earthbenders so it does not rely on her. The main plan builds a wide board of land creatures and Insect tokens from Scute Swarm and Springheart Nantuko, doubles counters with Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, and wins with Craterhoof Behemoth. A secondary poison line uses Inkmoth Nexus pumped by Nissa, Who Shakes the World and proliferated by Evolution Sage. Nissa and Ancient Greenwarden act as hidden commanders for mana and recursion.
