Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads a synergistic Naya midrange deck that merges artifact ramp, land animation, and +1/+1 counter engines. By turning all nontoken artifacts into lands, Toph allows utility artifacts and mana rocks to trigger landfall and be targeted by earthbend abilities. The deck's primary game plan deploys Toph by Turn 4 to consistently animate lands and artifacts into aggressive, hasty attackers that return to the battlefield tapped whenever they are destroyed or exiled. Counter-stacking pieces such as The Ozolith, Solid Ground, and Annie Joins Up amplify these animated lands into massive threats, while finishers like Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery and Akroma's Memorial enable lethal combat damage across all opponents by Turn 8. Because earthbent permanents ramp the battlefield upon dying, the deck possesses exceptional resilience against conventional board wipes.
