Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Midrange build combining creature-storm velocity with an Enchantress pillowfort shell. Helmed by Chulane, Teller of Tales, the deck utilizes a dense package of 1-mana mana dorks to deploy its commander on Turn 3. Once active, Chulane converts every creature spell into fresh card draw and immediate land ramp, enabling explosive mana development. The deck features self-bouncing creatures like Shrieking Drake and Whitemane Lion to rapidly cycle mana into massive card advantage. Defensively, it establishes asymmetric control through Energy Flux, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Aura Shards, and formidable combat taxes such as Sphere of Safety. Free and low-cost protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude safeguard the board against removal. The deck closes games around Turn 6-7 by casting Approach of the Second Sun and redrawing it within a single turn, or by deploying Storm Herd and overwhelming opponents with Akroma's Will.
