Commander: Neriv, Heart of the Storm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is a token-aggression and ETB-burn hybrid built around Neriv, Heart of the Storm. His damage-doubling ability applies to every creature that entered that turn, which synergizes perfectly with the Mobilize mechanic: each attack creates tapped-and-attacking 1/1 Warrior tokens that entered this turn, so every attack step is effectively a damage-doubling event. A second axis of ETB burn - Dagger Caster, Goblin Chainwhirler, Storm Caller, Red Dragon, and Scourge of Valkas - hits all opponents, while Pandemonium and Warstorm Surge convert every entering token into a bolt that Neriv doubles. Force multipliers Fiery Emancipation, Wound Reflection, Windcrag Siege, and Elspeth, Storm Slayer push the totals into lethal range. Zurgo Stormrender turns dying tokens into cards, and Zurgo, Thunder's Decree makes the Warrior swarm unsacrificable. The deck wins via repeated doubled combat and burn chains across the table.
