Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos political control and forced-combat strategy commanded by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. It seeks to disrupt normal multiplayer dynamics by giving Xantcha to an opponent on Turn 3, forcing that player into aggressive attacks while providing card draw to anyone willing to activate her ability. The deck controls the tempo of combat using goad spells like Disrupt Decorum and Kardur, Doomscourge, coupled with protective deterrents such as Crawlspace, No Mercy, and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs. As opponents wear down each other's life totals through mandatory combat, the deck deploys potent damage amplifiers including Wound Reflection, Rite of the Raging Storm, and Captive Audience. The endgame finishes remaining players through massive mana bursts from Mana Geyser into Exsanguinate, Comet Storm, or relentless table-wide drain effects. While vulnerable to creature sacrifice and stack-based combo decks, it excels at dictating combat flow and converting opposing resources into mutual destruction.
