Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari deathtouch/poison attrition deck built around converting small combat hits and repeatable proliferate into 10 poison counters for the whole table. The Serpent Society is a commander-sized deathtouch body with a Ward tax that doles out five poison counters, plus a death trigger that turns every other deathtouch death into a one-sided edict. The 99 leans on Fynn, the Fangbearer, toxic/infect threats like Bloated Contaminator and Venerated Rotpriest, a proliferate package (Contagion Clasp, Karn's Bastion, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician), and a snake-token engine (Ophiomancer, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Pharika, God of Affliction). Wins come from Triumph of the Hordes poison, Fynn plus deathtouch attacks, or incremental Ichor Rats / Infectious Inquiry poison accelerated by proliferate. The deck is a midrange table-grind strategy with a low curve and strong redundancy, but almost no stack interaction.
