Draw God by MrBurntPants

Format: Commander

Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet deck is helmed by The Locust God, leveraging its ability to turn every card draw into a flying, hasty Insect token. The primary strategy revolves around drawing large volumes of cards through wheels, repeatable draw engines, and looting effects to overwhelm opponents with a swarm of evasive tokens. Secondary win conditions include Laboratory Maniac by emptying the library and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary's noncombat damage payoff. The deck has a resilient commander that returns to hand on death, but lacks robust tutors or protection, making its game plan highly dependent on the graveyard and incremental tempo.
