Deck overview

This deck is a Boros spellslinger midrange strategy led by Monica Rambeau // Photon, Living Light. The primary plan involves curving out with efficient Hero and prowess creatures, deploying Monica, and paying her five-mana transform cost to access Photon, Living Light. Once transformed, Photon grants herself flying and hexproof while placing permanent +1/+1 counters on all other friendly creatures whenever you cast a noncreature spell. The deck uses a dense package of low-mana burn spells, combat tricks, and removal to grow its attackers rapidly and push through lethal damage across the table. Supported by heavy board wipes like Farewell and Blasphemous Act, the deck can reset wide opposing boards while rebuilding around resilient legendary threats such as Thor, God of Thunder and The Vision. While it lacks fast mana acceleration and hard tutors, its straightforward combat engine and strong defensive suite deliver a steady, resilient aggressive clock.
