Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Elf tribal deck built around High Perfect Morcant, which uses the commander's ETB to put -1/-1 counters on opponents' creatures and its activated ability to proliferate those counters. The primary game plan is to generate a wide board of Elves through token producers and mana dorks, then close the game with combat overruns from Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri, Renegade Leader. The -1/-1 counter subtheme, supported by Blowfly Infestation, Flourishing Defenses, and Necroskitter, provides a second axis of board control and value. Drain effects like Shaman of the Pack and Gruesome Fate offer an alternative, non-combat win condition. The commander's proliferate ability also synergizes with poison counters via Contaminant Grafter.
