Format: Commander

Commander: Urza, Lord High Artificer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Urza, Lord High Artificer leads a mono-blue artifact-combo stax deck. The primary plan is to deploy Urza as early as turn 2-3, turning every artifact into a blue mana source, then slow opponents with Winter Orb, Trinisphere, Lodestone Golem, and tax effects. From there the deck assembles infinite mana with Power Artifact plus Grim/Basalt Monolith or with Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, and finishes by drawing each opponent out with Blue Sun's Zenith or Stroke of Genius (or Aetherflux Reservoir after chaining spells through Urza's activated ability). The commander also functions as a draw engine by exiling and casting the top card for free. A heavy counterspell package protects the win.
