Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a layered stax/reanimator/aristocrats build helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. Squall attacks alone to grant double strike and, on combat damage, recurs any permanent with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard - turning him into a repeatable value engine that re-buys Forsaken Miner, Dauthi Voidwalker, or The Meathook Massacre. The deck's real teeth are its interlocking sacrifice loops: Phyrexian Altar plus Warren Soultrader plus a recurring creature generates infinite mana and Treasure, converted to a win through the death-trigger drain of The Meathook Massacre, Susurrian Voidborn, and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. A dense tax/stax shell (Archon of Emeria, Rule of Law, Drannith Magistrate, Deafening Silence) buys the time to assemble, while a full reanimation package (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, Victimize, Sevinne's Reclamation) provides redundancy and grind.
