Angel by user4168410

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shilgengar, Sire of Famine commands an aggressive tribal reanimator strategy that weaponizes high-toughness Angels. The primary game plan curves early utility Angels and mana acceleration into Shilgengar, then sacrifices high-toughness creatures to generate bursts of Blood tokens. Shilgengar converts six Blood tokens into a mass reanimation wave that restores your entire graveyard to the battlefield. The deck closes games through overwhelming aerial combat, using protective pieces like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade or lethal bursts from Akroma's Will. Solemnity and Thief of Blood bypass finality counter penalties, ensuring recurring battlefield dominance.
