Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the engine and finisher of this Sultai Elf/landfall deck. The primary plan is to ramp into the 5-mana commander, then play other legendary Elves to draw cards and discard or mill Elves into the graveyard. Once key Elves such as Topiary Lecturer, Woodland Weavemaster, Shadowheart, and Golgari Guildmage are in the yard, Thranduil acquires their activated abilities, turning him into a source of mana, card draw, and pump. The backup plan is a landfall token/counter board with Evolution Sage and Thranduil's Company, finished by a wide Elf swing. The hidden DFC is Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally: Silvan Rally fixes mana and mills, and the Liege face is a lord and token generator.
