Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate free 1/1 Vampire creature tokens whenever any Vampire spell is cast, effortlessly flooding the battlefield in the opening turns. The deck uses low-cost Vampires like Viscera Seer, Blood Artist, and Cordial Vampire to establish early board presence and threaten opponent life totals through combat and life-drain triggers. Mid-game scaling comes from lords, token multipliers such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and high-impact asymmetric sweepers like Olivia's Wrath. The deck also features an alternate instant-win condition with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood. While vulnerable to repeated exile-based board wipes, the continuous token generation from the command zone grants excellent natural recovery and sustained pressure against the table.
