Deck overview

This deck is a focused combat and cost-cheating strategy led by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan accelerates mana on turns one through three with artifacts like Sol Ring and Talisman of Hierarchy, deploying Kaalia on turn four. When Kaalia attacks, she bypasses high mana costs by placing massive Angels and Demons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Aurelia, the Warleader, Sephara, Sky's Blade, and Rune-Scarred Demon establish immediate air superiority. The deck can close out games across turns five and six through overwhelming aerial combat empowered by Akroma's Will or an infinite combat loop using Helm of the Host equipped to Aurelia. Secondary lines leverage reanimation effects like Reanimate and Animate Dead to bypass commander reliance. While vulnerable to well-timed spot removal against Kaalia, the list maintains resilience through equipment haste, board protection, and redundant high-impact beaters.
