Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Koth, the Geomancer, turning every land drop into reach-enabled burn against all opponents and refunding red mana for every Mountain played. The list pairs classic landfall enablers such as Walking Atlas, Burnished Hart, and Scaretiller with damage enhancers including Mechanized Warfare, Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage, Hawkeye, Young Avenger, and Thor, Asgard's Avenger. As Mountains enter, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Valakut Exploration amplify board pressure and card flow. The strategy relies on steady mana velocity, assembling a functional burn engine by Turn 4 and threatening decisive table-wide lethality by Turn 6. While vulnerable to mass removal and possessing limited defensive stack interaction, the deck's high density of redundant landfall threats and land recursion allows it to sustain pressure and close games by Turn 8.
