Deck overview

This Naya list is an Equipment/extra-combat deck that treats Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER as a draw-two-Treasures engine wearing a sword. The plan is simple: cast Cloud with haste, suit him up with Sword of Feast and Famine or a comparable Equipment, attack to draw a card per equipped attacker, then chain the deck's four extra-combat effects - Aggravated Assault, Aurelia, the Warleader, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Tifa, Martial Artist - with untap effects like Nature's Will and Sword of Feast and Famine to loop unlimited combats in a single turn. Backup angles include cheating Jumbo Cactuar or Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers into play, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubling the damage, and a dense equipment-trigger package around Cloud, Midgar Mercenary (a hidden second commander who tutors Equipment and doubles its triggers). The single-faced commander has no back face to evaluate; the 99 is built entirely around making his first hasted swing enormous.
