Deck overview

This Kenessos, Priest of Thassa deck is a dedicated Simic sea-monster stompy strategy designed to cheat colossal Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents into play well ahead of curve. By combining Kenessos's scry-buffing passive and four-mana activation with premier topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Sylvan Library, and Scroll Rack, the deck reliably positions high-impact beaters on top of the library. Cost reducers like Training Grounds and Biomancer's Familiar slash activation costs to just two mana, enabling multiple cheats per turn cycle at instant speed. The deck translates this velocity into board control using game-warping threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Hullbreaker Horror, and Spawning Kraken. One-sided board wipes such as Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets clear opposing blockers to secure lethal combat finishes by Turn 7, while backup cheat engines like Monster Manual // Zoological Study provide strong resilience.
