Deck overview

This Azorius control deck uses Lavinia of the Tenth to repeatedly neutralize low-cost threats and establish a dominant board lock. Early turns focus on mana development, light taxing, and single-target removal or detention. Once Rule of Law effects, Windborn Muse, or Lavinia enter, the deck restricts opposing development while generating Clue tokens to maintain hand size. Repeated enter-the-battlefield triggers from Conjurer's Closet, Panharmonicon, or Eerie Interlude keep opposing boards pinned down. With enemy boards detained or wiped by Supreme Verdict, victory is achieved through chip damage via unblockable tokens from Detective of the Month, large Spirit tokens from Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim, or an activated Celestial Colonnade.
