Deck overview

This is a Grixis reanimator/value deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary strategy leverages the Ring tempts mechanic to discard the hand and draw four cards, fueling a massive graveyard suite while simultaneously amassing Orc armies. The deck then reanimates high-impact threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Terror of the Peaks to close out the game. The nine copies of Nazgul provide a critical mass of Ring-tempts triggers, deathtouch bodies, and +1/+1 counter synergy. Secondary paths include the explosive finisher Blood for the Blood God! and the potential for infinite treasure loops via Warren Soultrader and Ruthless Technomancer. The commander's Ward-sacrifice ability and the dense interaction suite protect the game plan, while the Ring-tempts engine ensures a constant flow of cards.
