Deck overview

Madame Null, Power Broker commands a mono-black midrange deck that turns life totals into board power. The strategy curves out by casting Madame Null on Turn 3 and following with efficient lifelink creatures on Turn 4. Madame Null pays life equal to each entering creature's power to place that many +1/+1 counters on it, doubling its size and damage. In the midgame, flying and menace beaters such as Vampire Nighthawk and Gwenom, Remorseless attack to gain back lost life while triggering drain engines like Marauding Blight-Priest and Starscape Cleric. High-cost demons like Bloodletter of Aclazotz double damage output while Archfiend of Depravity forces creature sacrifices. The deck eliminates opponents around Turn 8 through steady evasive combat, a massive Exsanguinate, or the Exquisite Blood infinite drain combo. The deck performs well in creature combat, but it lacks artifact removal and depends on natural draws to find specific noncreature cards.
