Bard's Humans by MagiNoob

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine of this UW token-control hybrid. The primary plan is to accelerate Bard into play by turn five or six with Sunscape Familiar or Sol Ring, then use his replacement abilities to double every recruit token and every non-draw-step draw, building a wide Human Soldier board while stocking answers. Bard's Company, Long Lake Nuisance, and Esgaroth Garrison supply the army; The Arkenstone and Summon: Knights of Round provide anthem-scale finishes. Secondary paths use Ravenhill Flock and Lakeshore Apothecary as draw-matters beaters and a flexible counterspell package to survive until the token line comes online. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; Bard itself is the heartbeat.
