Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Sultai Midrange engine commanded by The Wise Mothman, blending rad counter distribution, mill, +1/+1 counters, and graveyard exploitation. By rapidly deploying 1–2 CMC acceleration into a Turn 3 Mothman, the deck inflicts rad counters across the table, triggering consistent nonland milling on upkeeps and combat steps. Each milled nonland card grows your creature base, which is supercharged by counter doublers such as Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace. The deck transitions into lethal critical pressure around Turn 5, utilizing evasion from Herald of Secret Streams, life-drain burn from Syr Konrad, the Grim, or overwhelming board presence. Additionally, the list harbors a compact infinite win condition in Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank, capable of wiping all three life totals instantly. Graveyard recursion tools like Six and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods provide resilience, while phase-out protection from Ripples of Potential shields the board from board wipes.
