Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Grixis Pirate kindred strategy led by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost, evasive Pirates and mana rocks in the opening turns, followed by casting Admiral Brass to mill cards and immediately reanimate impactful Pirates from the graveyard as 4/4 creatures with haste. The deck converts combat connectivity into card advantage and treasure generation through engines like Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator. High-end payoffs such as Angrath's Marauders, Dire Fleet Ravager, and Port Razer combine with anthems like Shared Animosity to turn wide boards into lethal combat swings. While the deck boasts resilient mid-game recursion and dense card draw, it lacks dedicated instant-speed protection and remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and graveyard exile.
