Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal stompy list commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. It uses its commander's eminence ability alongside dedicated cost-reduction artifacts like Urza's Incubator, Heartless Summoning, and Herald's Horn to cast large, high-mana flying Sphinxes well ahead of curve. The engine achieves critical mass through Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, Consecrated Sphinx, and Kindred Discovery, which convert creature deployments into continuous card flow. Once the board is established, the deck applies severe aerial pressure, using Magister Sphinx to set life totals to 10 and Medomai the Ageless for tempo advantage. Asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance clear opposing boards without touching its own creatures, allowing a lethal finish via combat damage around turn 7.
