Commander: The Raven Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Raven Man leads a mono-black discard control deck designed to strip away opposing hands while generating incremental board presence. By combining repeated discard effects like Bottomless Pit and Oppression with payoff engines such as Waste Not and Megrim, the deck steadily exhausts opponent resources while building an army of evasive Bird tokens. Winning positions are achieved by locking down the table under symmetric hand destruction, then closing the game through passive discard damage, large drain swings from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or wide aerial combat buffed by anthems like Coat of Arms and Obelisk of Urd.
