Deck overview

Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle is a Simic big-mana deck that uses its commander as a two-color mana rock early, then awakens it into a 12/12 to close with commander damage. The primary plan is to ramp, cast five spells to remove slumber counters, and attack for 12 twice. Secondary paths are a token-and-beatdown swarm from Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Hermes, and Deekah, and a big-spell value plan with Gandalf, Westward Voyager as a hidden commander, copying five-plus-mana spells. Kruphix and Wilderness Reclamation bank mana for explosive turns. The deck has no true infinite win, but Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring and Arcane Signet can generate mana and bounce permanents.
