Thanos by HellSpunFury

Format: Commander

Commander: Thanos, the Mad Titan

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

A five-color "Villain-tribal" Voltron/+1/+1-counter hybrid built around Thanos, the Mad Titan. Although Thanos only costs {R}{W}{B}, his power-up ability gives the deck a full WUBRG color identity and asks for blue and green mana when the time comes to wipe the board. The game plan is to land Thanos early, scale him with counter-doubling auras, suit him with Equipment and protection, then use his one-shot parity wrath to clear the board before taking over with lethal commander damage. Secondary beaters like Red Hulk, Doc Ock, Sinister Scientist, and Kang, Temporal Tyrant can carry Equipment if Thanos is answered. The primary win is repeated commander-damage swings, often accelerated into one-shots by Level Up, Seismic Tutelage, Cosmic Cube, and Team Tactics.
