Red Hulk by Thatdudegio

Format: Commander

Commander: Red Hulk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red burn-and-beatdown deck built around Red Hulk's enrage trigger. The game plan is to use inexpensive red burn spells-many of which can target the commander himself-to shock Red Hulk, stack +1/+1 counters on him, and then convert that growing body (plus Basilisk Collar lifelink and Gratuitous Violence damage doubling) into commander damage and pinging. The deck also runs a goad subtheme via Agitator Ant and a counter-doubling package in Aetheric Amplifier and Karn's Bastion, with Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute turning every counter drop into table-wide damage. A suite of red board wipes-Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, Starstorm-doubles as enrage fuel, since damaging the commander is the deck's core engine. It finishes through commander damage, Guttersnipe/Electro, Assaulting Battery pings, and direct burn to face.
