Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk's two engines: a Treasure token for every Dwarf that enters, and a +1/+0 anthem for Dwarves per artifact token you control. The 99 leans into both directions at once - a dense suite of legendary Dwarves (Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Kili the Resourceful, Reyav, Master Smith, Koll, the Forgemaster) plus Treasure multipliers (Smothering Tithe, Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, Academy Manufactor) - and an Equipment package that converts the Treasure flood into a single overwhelming combat turn: Blade of Selves myriad, double strike, and chained extra combats from Scourge of the Throne and Great Train Heist. Magda, Brazen Outlaw functions as the hidden commander and primary tutor. The deck also carries two non-combat outs: the artifact-ETB drain of Reckless Fireweaver and Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact alternate win. It plays as a mid-turn snowball deck - explosive once the Treasure economy turns on, but fragile on its one big attack.
