Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard and attrition control list led by Tinybones, Bauble Burglar. The primary strategy focuses on emptying opponents' hands through low-cost, table-wide discard creatures and enchantments, while Tinybones exiles those cards with stash counters to turn opposing decks into your personal card pool. The engine generates overwhelming card and mana advantage through synergistic anchors like Waste Not and Geth's Grimoire. As opponents are reduced to topdeck mode, high-friction lock pieces such as Oppression and Painful Quandary severely penalize any attempt to rebuild. The deck finishes games through steady life drain from Liliana's Caress, Quest for the Nihil Stone, and Bandit's Talent, augmented by swarms of Zombie tokens and a devastating Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While vulnerable to aggressive topdecks and artifact-heavy strategies due to mono-black color pie limitations, the deck excels at dismantling conventional game plans through relentless resource denial.
