Blinking tears away like tiny shards - Niko, Light of hope by masonx17

Format: Commander

Commander: Niko, Light of Hope

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Azorius blink-value midrange deck helmed by Niko, Light of Hope. The core plan uses Niko's ETB Shard tokens and activated ability to temporarily copy nonlegendary creatures onto the Shards while flickering the original, multiplying ETB triggers from a dense package of value creatures. Token doublers (Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Exalted Sunborn) and ETB-doublers (Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Panharmonicon, Starfield Vocalist) explode the board into myriad attackers, populate engines, and card advantage. Primary wins come from wide combat (especially Battle Angels of Tyr and Hammers of Moradin) and the alternate-win condition on Twenty-Toed Toad. A classic infinite blink loop with Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel provides a combo finish. The deck pairs this value engine with an elite free-counter and protection suite to control the stack while it snowballs.
