Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is the engine of a Golgari token beatdown deck that turns every life-gain event into +1/+1 counters on Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The primary plan is to curve out early Pest makers (Moseo, Vein's New Dean; Essenceknit Scholar; Bogwater Lumaret), then widen with Hornet Queen or Beledros Witherbloom and close with a mass pump-Preposterous Proportions or Root Manipulation. Secondary paths include Professor Dellian Fel's emblem turning life gain into damage, Nadier's Nightblade chip damage, and recursion loops with Teacher's Pest and Moseo. There is no hidden commander; Blech is the only commander and the deck is built around his trigger. It is a mid-speed, non-combo beatdown deck.
