Commander: Bartolomé del Presidio

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bartolome del Presidio is an Orzhov aristocrats/reanimator commander who turns creatures and artifacts into fuel. The deck's primary plan is to self-mill, recur cheap permanents, and assemble an infinite sacrifice loop: a creature enchanted with a return-on-death aura is sacrificed to Bartolome indefinitely, triggering drain effects like Zulaport Cutthroat or Marionette Apprentice to kill all opponents. Boonweaver Giant can fetch the needed aura, and tutors like Demonic Bargain and Final Parting speed assembly. Secondary paths include pumping Bartolome to lethal commander damage with Rogue's Passage, or beating down with The Grim Captain. The deck is highly dependent on Bartolome as its only repeatable sacrifice outlet, and its heavy graveyard reliance makes it vulnerable to exiling graveyard hate.
