Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King leads a high-velocity Rakdos big-mana deck centered on accumulating massive amounts of unspent red mana and channeling it into lethal table-wide burn spells or infinite combat steps. Ozai serves as both a 7/7 hasty beater and a persistent mana battery, converting unspent mana into red mana that carries across phases and turns while granting himself flying and indestructible once six or more mana is banked. The deck leverages efficient early acceleration and explosive rituals to deploy Ozai ahead of curve on Turn 4. On Turn 5, stored mana multiplies through Doubling Cube, Treasonous Ogre, Jeska's Will, or Mana Geyser, unleashing decisive finishers such as Crackle with Power, Torment of Hailfire, or an Aggravated Assault loop. Robust redirection magic like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend shields key spells during critical turns, allowing the deck to execute explosive, same-turn table kills.
