Stomp And Burn On Every Turn by Justduff1992

Format: Commander

Commander: Eshki, Temur's Roar

Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 53

Deck overview

This deck leverages Eshki, Temur's Roar to convert high-power creature casts into an aggressive card-drawing and burn engine. By prioritizing 1-mana acceleration, the deck consistently deploys Eshki on Turn 2 and begins casting aggressively statted or discounted creatures on Turn 3. Cards with high printed power and low alternative costs—such as Slumbering Trudge, Bygone Colossus, Dreamtide Whale, and Wistfulness—trigger Eshki on cast, immediately growing the commander, drawing cards, and dealing direct burn damage to every opponent. Heavy mana engines like Fanatic of Rhonas, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, and Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea allow the pilot to chain multiple massive threats in a single turn. With damage multiplying through Purphoros, God of the Forge and Terror of the Peaks, alongside haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy, the deck rapidly overwhelms opposing life totals by Turn 5 while protecting its key turns with free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship.
