Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Chatterfang passively doubles all token creation into additional 1/1 Squirrels and provides an uncounterable on-board creature removal engine powered by sacrificing those tokens. The deck blends classic Squirrel tribal payoffs with modern Food synergies, generating heavy board presence via cards like Camellia, the Seedmiser, Hazel of the Rootbloom, and Deep Forest Hermit. Mana engines like Cryptolith Rite, Earthcraft, and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest turn swarms of tokens into explosive mana, culminating in lethal overruns or the infinite token combo of Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest. While the deck controls opposing creature boards with ease, its reliance on natural draws and vulnerability to sweepers define its pacing.
