Deck overview

This deck is an Esper lifegain midrange build commanded by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. Oloro provides a steady stream of two life each upkeep directly from the command zone without needing to be cast. The primary strategy uses this passive life accumulation to fuel payoffs that generate large evasive creature tokens, such as Crested Sunmare, Angelic Accord, and The Book of Exalted Deeds. By turns 5 and 6, the deck establishes its token engines and transitions into an aerial beatdown plan around turn 7. Backup win conditions include alternate victory cards like Felidar Sovereign and burst damage from Aetherflux Reservoir. The deck runs a balanced suite of targeted exile spells, countermagic, and sweepers to keep opposing boards manageable. However, the lack of burst ramp and heavy tutor density means the deck develops at normal sorcery speed and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
