Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Spellslinger Storm strategy piloted by Vivi Ornitier, who converts every noncreature spell cast into +1/+1 counters, table-wide burn, and explosive mana generation. The deck establishes its foundation on Turn 3 by casting Vivi, followed by a sequence of cheap cantrips and enablers on Turn 4 to grow Vivi and activate its {0} mana ability. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal storm turn, chaining low-cost spells, rituals, and draw engines like Curiosity, Archmage Emeritus, or Veyran, Voice of Duality to deal massive incidental damage across all opponents. It closes the game on Turn 6 with decisive X-burn spells such as Jaya's Immolating Inferno, overloaded Mizzix's Mastery, or an infinite Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity loop. Backed by a dense suite of cheap counterspells and bounce interaction, the deck protects its commander while rapidly overwhelming the table with burn and mana velocity.
